Raised a few feet above the plaza, the gazebo at Spanish Springs Town Square hosts nightly entertainment for The Villages community.
A bright copper roof and its tall finial are held up by metal posts painted dark green. Wide stairways - with half a dozen steps to the northeast and southwest - are flanked by lamp posts on either side of the bottom treads. Scrolling metalwork rails adorn the stairs and ring the floor. Big, square terracotta tiles with smaller green diamond tile inlays line the gazebo's floor.
Bright yellow "The Villages, Florida" signs span the openings above the steps. The structure is built on a three-foot tall concrete base painted a light yellow with tan trim. Live entertainment acts are amplified and lit with permanently installed components. The surrounding plaza is covered with light brown pavers in a variety of sizes and shades.
