The Arinaga Battery is located to the south of the Arinaga Mountain and has a surface area of 75,046 square metres. It was built 1941 inside the mountain, its corridors and rooms are occupying a large area with several exits to strategic points where defensive batteries were installed. Its administrative and tactical denomination was the 14th battery.
In 1970 the dismantling began, which was finished one year later.
The Waymark points to one of the outposts where underground passages, bunkers and two former gun emplacements can be seen.
