FR Cette fontaine a la particularité d'être versé aux Monuments Historiques mais aussi à l'inventaire général du patrimoine culturel et c'est là que l'on retrouve le plus d'information et la meilleure description.
Cet inventaire, que l'on peut cependant compléter par l'observation, nous apprend que la fontaine fut construite à cet endroit en 1588 ; l'état actuel est conforme à un projet de 1854 qui prévoyait aussi la construction d'un ensemble de bassins disposés en hémicycle à l'ouest de la fontaine
La construction est faire de pierre de taille et représente en son centre une pyramide de 5,74 m de haut et de 6 mascaron, sur les 6 faces du piédouche en forme de chapiteau hexagonal à 1 m 50 de hauteur environs, qui crachent de l'eau dans un bassin centré, hexagonal, également, de 3 m de diamètre.
EN This fountain has the particularity of being included in the Historic Monuments but also in the general inventory of cultural heritage and it is there that we find the most information and the best description.
This inventory, which can however be completed by observation, tells us that the fountain was built there in 1588; the current state is in accordance with a project of 1854 which also provided for the construction of a set of basins arranged in a hemicycle to the west of the fountain
The construction is made of ashlar and represents in its center a pyramid of 5.74 m high and 6 mascaron, on the 6 faces of the pedestal shaped like a hexagonal capital at about 1.50 m high, which spit water in a centered pool, also hexagonal, of 3 m in diameter.
