Albert (Oney) is a very small community located along Highway 146 in Caddo County. The post office, established in 1910 was called Albert, after the townsite owner, Albert Baker. However, only the post offie is known as Albert; locally the town is known as Oney, after an early settler, Richard Oney. Hence, the Twin City name of the fire department.

This is a very small agricultural community, and the fire department was established in 1987. It operates out of a metal building with four overhead doors. The department has eight volunteer firefighters. There is no 911 service. Emergency calls should be placed to 405-643-2222.

Fire departments in small towns like Albert/Oney must handle a variety of emergencies from structure and grass fires, to about anything else. On the department's Facebook page, it reads: "Not only in emergency situations such as fires, wrecks, and medical needs of the community, but also with many other various things." (That probably includes a cat caught up in a tree).
