Binger-Oney Schools is a combined school district with this high school located in Binger. On the north side of a two-stock brick auditorium built in 1936, this very large mural shows historic objects from Binger and the school.
With a pale blue background, the mural schows the old, original school, and the newer one built in 1991. There are students involved in sports, a 4-H clover and a Bobcat, the school mascot. On the right side of the mural are historical items such as peanuts and cotton, staples of this agricultural town, a tractor, a student studying, an old church, and the FFA shield.
The mural was painted by Bob Palmer and his mural students. A nearby notice board indicates the names of the Binger-Oney Alumni Association Mural Committee, and the various donors for this mural project.
