At the intersection of Yavapai St. and Frontier St. is a memorial plaza honoring Wickenburg residents who gave their lives in the service of their country. There is a marble covered section dedicated to the service man who lost his life in Korea. The plaque reads:
"Wickenburg honors these citizens who gave their lives in service to our country.
Korean War Laskowsky, Franklin J."
The plaque also mentions others who lost their live in Southeast Asia.
They are:
"Barnes, Allen Roy
Brumm, Raymond
Dair, Albert J.
Davis, Donald Allen
Frazer, Fredrick Harry
Powell, Larry Dean"
The plaque is bronze and features the insignia of the four branches of service.
