This pecan tree is planted near a walking trail on the southwest side of the park. It is dedicated to Marguerite Jaques (pronounced Jakeway) (9/9/1920 - 12/5/2006), and Bud Jaques (1915 - 1984). Bud's full name was Elleyne Darius Jaques.
The dedication plaque reads:

and
Bud Jaques
