"The primary access for stadium visitors was designed to be from the west, as indicated by the wide concrete promenade leading from Stadium Drive to the stadium entrance. There are four detached limestone ticket booths (4 feet x 10 feet) integrated into the planter walls approaching the entry.

The architectural style is Art Moderne, displaying a linear concrete entrance canopy with curved comers. There are four entry bays created by five stone veneered columns that project eight feet from the primary wall surface. The concrete canopy runs across these columns at the first-story level. Inside each oversized column is a ticket booth. Signage centered on the canopy consists individual blue metal letters reading: "SAN ANTONIO PUBLIC SCHOOLS," "ALAMO STADIUM," and "DEDICATED TO THE USE OF A FREE AND HAPPY PEOPLE."

Above the entrance canopy, centered on each bay on the primary elevation, are four round six-light windows. Four ceramic tile murals located above each of the entry bays greet spectators upon arrival.

The north elevation is used as a service entry to the field level of the stadium. The limestone wall forms a stone entryway that stands two stories high and is flanked by 20' high, rectangular stone columns. An Art Modeme Style concrete canopy (with curved comers) stretches across the space from column to column supported by two square steel columns forming three entry bays. These bays are closed off by three pairs of swinging vertical wood plank doors.

The entry in the middle of the east elevation is denoted by two small scale concrete deco canopies with two flagpoles attached.
