Located in the base of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is a small exhibit area with past and current history exhibits of the lighthouse. This area is at ground level so climbing any stairs is not necessary. There are two steps that must be navigated to go into the base of the lighthouse so those with limited mobility and or in wheelchairs can not access this area. The only way to visit this lighthouse is by a tour. The best one being conducted by the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation. Tour guides and docents are on site for these tours and will happily bring the visitors book outside for those who wish to sign it but cannot gain access to it in the exhibit area.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This waymark has limited access availability due to it location on official government property.
