"Friday evenings the Scobee Education Center planetarium opens at 6:00pm for public programming. Tickets are sold 30 minutes prior to the start of each presentation. Seating is first come, first seated and the theater has a 101 seat capacity.

Through our state-of-the-art Digistar 5 System, full dome Planetarium shows immerse audiences and takes them on adventures through time and space with vivid images and sounds of stars, planets, the dark depths of the universe, and more. The Scanlan Observatory, located atop the iconic blue Charles E. Cheever Jr. Star Tower, houses a 10-in refractor telescope and features a 360-degree rotating dome and panel that opens 90-degrees, enabling star gazing in any direction."
