We were in the area for a wedding over the weekend. This morning we had a little time before we had to check out of the hotel, and head back to Kansas City to grab our flight home. This is a nice courthouse, and somewhat reminicent of those found around Ohio. The only difference seem to be that this was built for about $100,000 - $200,000 less than the ones here. Many of our courthouses were built in the mid to late 1800's. There was a period during which there was a large movement to build new, fancy courthouses across the state.
