I look forward to the day when a permanent memorial will be
erected. I remember the day of the crash and those that followed
and how much the people of Lexington and Central Kentucky came
together for eachother, the families and the first responders. It
was a very sad time. I specifically remember seeing the charter
buses going up this hill with the victims' family members to visit
the site after the major part of the NTSB investigation was over
and how people stood on the side of Versailles Road with signs of
support for the families.
