My wife's family lived in Germany twice with the US Air Force while
she was growing up. When we were invited to a wedding in Denmark we
took the opportunity to stay with a high school friend of hers in
Berlin the week before.
While visiting the Brandenburg Gate we were interviewed for an
article about the high value of the Euro compared to the dollar by
an AP reporter looking for people reading the English side of the
signs. My wife's quote even made the made the article.
