I used to practically live here in the mid-late 80's when I went to
school at UB. I used to have my own mug back when I drank here all
the time, and this was our "Cheers" as everybody knew our names.
We got to be good friends with the staff (waitresses and
bartenders), and we even took one of the waitresses on vacation to
Florida with us!
I only make it hear a couple of times at most a year, but every
time I visit I get this wonderful feeling from all the memories I
had coming here with friends in college, drinking beer, playing
backgammon, watching Bills games.
We used to have a Rochester Brew Pub closer to home, but that
never had the same feeling to me because off the memories, and the
ambiance we just all wrong.
My information from one of the waitresses that used to work here
(Jessica) is that upstairs are all these little rooms, and the
rumor was that this building used to be a brothel.
