The purpose is to recognize and document the many places that are often mis-understood and sometimes uncomfortable to think about. But Funeral Homes are also comforting to those famlies who look to them for services and dispostion of those who have passed away. Many of these Funeral Homes have a many long years of operation. Some still going since the 19th Century. The purpose will be to waymark these funeral homes. We have many waymarks documenting final resting places, the Funeral Home usually will provide the services of these final resting places. The actual information that will be required could be just a photo of the sign or name of the funeral home and a photo of the building. A description being of an history and types of service provided. Most can be found online these days. Does the funeral home operate a cemetery or other funeral related industry. The waymarking of funeral homes is to treated as a respectful venture, nothing more. Thanks
