Description:: The goal of this category is to find art studios, ateliérs and workshops of individual artists, or small groups of artists.

Expanded Description:

An Art studio is basically a building or apartment where artists makes art. These places can also be called ateliér or workshops.

We are looking for studios of individual artists or small artist groups, that are still operational or have historical value. One must be able to visit the site or at least there is a sign or plaque telling about the history of the place.

There are two types of studios that will qualify as art studio waymarks.
1 Art studios
2 Pottery Studios.

Production studios under a company name like movie studios are not what we look for. Studios that don't apply are Educational studios and production studios

Instructions for Posting a Art Studios Waymark:

AT LEAST TWO picture are required. One should show the building or apartment and the other picture must show either a sign or plaque of the art studio, or the inside of the art studio (if allowed). More pictures are encouraged to show the different aspects of the studio.
