This wonderful old Victorian building was built in 1888. Renovations in the 30 and the 60s temporarily hid the old façade. In 1990 it was de-renovated to expose its original personality. Once exposed it was seen to be spectacularly designed.

Though the Northern Pacific reached Missoula in 1883, it was another 18 years before they possessed a true railroad depot in the town. Arson and other events prompted the eventual construction of this splendid Renaissance Revival depot in 1901.

Though the Masons of Flint Creek Lodge #11 had met as early as 1867, they apparently had no lodge building of their own until this one was built in 1911. This 147 year old (as of 2014) lodge still meets on the upper floor of the temple.

In the hope that Anaconda would soon become Montana's capital, the powers that be at the time furnished the city with a rather ambitious City Hall. Completed in 1896, though it no longer serves as Anaconda's City Hall, it remains a city landmark.
