A truly spectacular asymmetrically cable-supported bridge, who's official name is 'The Sail Bridge' The single support is over 130 feet high. The 500 feet long pedestrian bridge crosses the River Tawe in the Maritime Quarter of Swansea, South Wales.

This rock formation, known as the "Queen's Head", has only taken 4000 years to get to this shape! The locals think the head, when seen from the right angle, looks like Queen Elizabeth II. I think it looks more like Queen Nefertiti of Egypt.

This barge was built in 1732 for Frederick, Prince of Wales. It was used by subsequent monarchs until 1849 when it was put into storage. In 1951 it was put on show in the National Maritime Museum where it is still on display.
