Initially a Presbyterian church, this wood frame building was the second church built in the town of Armstrong, with services being held for the first time on January 2nd, 1902. In 1925, with Canada wide church union, it became a United Church.

This Anglican Church was built at Lansdowne, a community northeast of Armstrong, in 1885 and, with the coming of the S & O railroad to Armstrong, moved to Armstrong in 1891. It has been in continuous use ever since.

Completed in 1949, the Memorial Arena, like those of a great many towns and cities in Canada, was built as a memorial to those soldiers who never returned from war. It is used as much today as it was on the day it opened.

This Cathedral opened as a church in 1925, replacing the wood frame church which had burned down during Ash Wednesday service in 1919. In December of 1945, with the establishment of the Diocese of Kamloops, it was elevated to Cathedral status.

The oldest part of this cathedral was built in 1888 as the headquarters of the Kamloops Missionary District, established in 1884. In 1924 the building was moved from Victoria Street and additions made.

Designed by CNR Architects in Winnipeg, this Canadian National Railway depot was completed in 1927. Designated a National Heritage Railway Station on April 6th, 1992, it stands along the railway tracks north of Lorne Street, now a pub and restaurant.

Silverton's venerable city hall is situated in what amounts to a town plaza along Highway 6. In that plaza one will find one of the largest collection of old mining tools and equipment anywhere.
