Ask yourself before posting.
Is this pump no longer working?
Does it look old? (Please state if it is a modern replica.)
Is it publicly accessible?
(The pump needs to be on public view, and not in someone else's private garden.)
Is it purely decorative?
Did it dispense water?
Does it still have a handle (or equivalent) for pumping?
Handle may have been removed. See Photograph requirements.

Now submit your find. Just submitting co-ordinates and photographs is not enough. Some text describing the pump and/or its history is also needed. Minimalist postings with poor quality pictures and inaccurate co-ordinates will be sent back for improvement.

Co-ordinates.
Should be taken as close as possible with a hand held GPSr. Currently mobile 'phone and cameras with GPSrs are not recommended for reliable co-ordinates. If the pump is in a museum building, please use main door co-ordinates and describe in the box provided how to get from the main door to the pump. If it is determined that co-ordinates have been taken at a distance with camera or mobile 'phone, the waymark, if already approved, may be subject to removal by the group officers.

Photographs.
At least two good quality photographs taken with a camera, not a fuzzy mobile 'phone. Primary picture of the pump including the handle. If the handle has been removed, a third photograph of there once being a handle is needed. For example the fulcrum or slot where the handle was located.
A picture of the handle will help your posting.
Secondary picture of general area. Further photographs to enhance the posting, i.e. stone trough, date stone, history plaque.

Narrative.
If you can find out any history about this pump or the water system that replaced this pump, or was this pump a "Typhoid Mary", did it kill rather than give life, please add it here. If there was no handle, how did it pump by hand? Credit the sources from which you obtained or copied the text.

Exclusions
A pump on private land. A stainless steel pump or other modern looking pumps. A pump that did not move water. A standpipe or tap with water under pressure. e.g. WM9ZWR
