Mountain Bike TrailheadsEdward's Point (Signal Mtn., TN)

in Mountain Bike Trailheads

A combination of single track, double track and rutted jeep road makes for fun for the expert and beginner alike. Taking the jeep road to Mushroom Rock adds some more fun.

Mountain Bike TrailheadsGrand Gap

in Mountain Bike Trailheads

6.8 miles of great rolling terrain with some technical sections and some awesome views. Currently (Aug 2006) rideable on weekdays (Mon-Fri) only. Hikers have it on weekends and share during the week. PLEASE honor this as the park has opened this great trail up to bikers on an experimental basis with future trails open to bikers if this works out!

Mountain Bike TrailheadsHaw Ridge

in Mountain Bike Trailheads

Lots of variety in this great trail system. Roots, rocks, dropoffs to the lake, bridges, etc. provide stimulation for the more advance rider. Easier throughfares around the lake give the beginners something to do. From I40, take 162 North toward Oak Ridge (Pellissippi Parkway). After crossing Melton Hill Lake take the first exit to TN 170, Edgemoor Rd heading east.

Woodsy trail, looks like an old training trail, very wide. Great for hiking too.
