American Revolutionary War Veteran Graves
 allows ratings
Description:
They're the men who served our country before it was a country. They fought for our independence and lived and died for the cause of freedom. Let us honor their sacrifice by recording their final resting spots so others can visit them.
Expanded Description:

We have the opportunity with this Waymarking category to catalog all the graves of soldiers of the American Revolution. Not only is it challenging (much more challenging in my home area of the Midwest than other areas) but there is also a great historic and educational element to this category. The database we're building could be used by schools and students of history. This is a great way to pass some of our heritage.

Instructions for Posting a American Revolutionary War Veteran Graves Waymark:

Your contribution might be a single grave that you have found somewhere or it might be a whole cemetery dedicated to these veterans. Either way, record the longitude and latitude and include as much information as possible so others can visit your waymarks. A photograph of the grave, if possible, will be appreciated

Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:

PLEASE NOTE: This category is for American Revolutionary War Veterans only. Veterans of other revolutions are not part of this category.

I have allowed one entry for a grave of British solders, but it was an exception. Please only list graves for Colonial soldiers.

Simply visit the locations. Please provide as much information as possible. Pictures would be a great addition.
