National Parks Services are located around the United States showing us history, culture,
education, recreation and various other beauties.

The Park MUST be listed on the US National Park
Service Website before it can be accepted into this category! Please make sure that this waymark is listed on the US National Park page. Please read FULL description.
Expanded Description:

This category was originally intended for the National Park itself with the branches within the park not included. Some parks, for example Golden Gate, have places within the park which are included on the website with a page of their own. If i see that these places have a page of their own listed on the US Park Service site I will include the waymark. Otherwise only the park itself will be accepted into this category. Please include a picture of the Park Sign, and US National Park Service area you are logging.   Also, get coordinates that are accurate of the area.  Please include a picture or pictures of high quality of anything of interest within the park.  Such as the visitors center or a monument with the Parks name included in the picture.  Please include any other pictures of anything within the park that is of interest to potential visitors of this park. 

The Park MUST be listed on the US National Park Service Website and the picture within the park must be of something important the park is based on.  

1. Please include as many details as possible. 

2. Please check off the variables included from the US National Park Service website.

3. Please take good high quality pictures.

Some EXAMPLES of what is required are:

A. Jefferson National Expansion Memorial consists of the Gateway Arch, the Museum of Westward Expansion, and St. Louis' Old Courthouse.

B. Martin Van Buren National Historic Site

C. Vicksburg National Military Park

D. Grand Canyon National Park

Does this branch, if it is within the park and not the park, have a page of its own on the website? If so, the waymark will be accepted otherwise it will not be accepted... Please post TWO high quality pictures (or more & no low resolution cell phone pictures please) of the Park Sign and another of something within the park with the Park name in the sign if possible.  Please fill in the variables as thoroughly as possible from the National Parks Service Website.
