Instructions for Posting a U-Haul SuperGraphics Waymark:
Creation of a new listing is governed by a few rules which are different from regular Waymarking and are detailed as:
LEGAL: Never enter private property without permission for the purposes of photography or coordinate recording. This includes U-Haul rental locations, so speak to staff beforehand. Never manipulate a camera and/or GPS device while operating a moving vehicle.
Posting Limitations: Each player account may any number of "America and Canada's Moving Adventure (Modern)" as well as "America and Canada's Moving Adventure (Classic)" - The previous limitation of one from each has been lifted.
Coordinates of the Listing: To list your Waymark you must use the coordinates of the state or provincial capital city. This is done to reduce redundant listings and to facilitate searches. Use 50 States as a possible resource for coordinates.
Default Image and Gallery Images: You must use the matching SuperGraphic image found on Territory Selector page from the U-Haul site as the default image. In the gallery you must also post an image of a truck with the matching SuperGraphic clearly visible. Including the truck image in the listing description is optional, but suggested.
Short and Long Descriptions: You are free to author your own descriptions, including information about the state or province and you are also encouraged to include information about the featured location including the coordinates if available. Minimal descriptions or those lacking in details may be declined with a request for additional content. If you wish to also include the information found on the U-Haul site you may however to do so you must cite the U-Haul website as the source. If you have questions about permission, contact the U-Haul legal department.
Footnote / Boilerplate text: At the end of every listing you must include the following "Default Image and any additional cited content and/or images from the U-Haul SuperGraphics website are used with permission from U-Haul International."
Link to U-Haul page: The URL / website of the corresponding page on U-Haul must be provided in the variable area.
Naming your Waymark Listing: The name must be in the format of U-Haul #X: State/Province.
Example U-Haul #96: South Dakota. In the case of Trailers, please substitute TR in place of #X and use the full name. e.g. U-Haul TR: Groundspeak, WA
