Description:: Recycling is the reprocessing of old materials into new products, with the aims of preventing the waste of potentially useful materials, reducing the consumption of fresh raw materials, reducing energy usage, reducing air (from incineration) and water (from land filling) pollution.

Expanded Description:

Recycling Centers or Plants, Scrap Yards and Drop-Off Sites for specific recyclables. We're looking for places you can take a large amount of recyclable goods, not a casual throw away place. Containers should be about 6ft (2 meters) or larger in either length or height.

Allowed:

(6 Cubic Yards or Larger).

NOT Allowed:

(Small Trash Can, Barrel, Bin or Curb Side pick up).

Instructions for Posting a Places for Recycling Waymark:

When posting a Recycling Center please post in the title in the following format
RC -- City -- State/Province

When posting a Scrap Yard please use
SY -- City -- State/Province

When posting a Drop-Off Site please post as
DO -- Location -- City -- State/Province
For Example: DO -- Church Parking Lot -- Atlanta -- GA
