Find and photograph the real world locations of the properties that are found on a Monopoly board or one of the Monopoly variants.
A Waymark can be made for any property in the world that is on a Monopoly board, of any edition that has a corresponding real world location.
The Waymarker must entitle the waymark with the name of the property - the edition that contains the property - city, state/province/country (For example: Bryan Hall - Wazzuopoly - Pullman, Washington, USA). Additionally, the Waymarker must provide some evidence that this location or street name really is named in that edition. Evidence may provided by providing either a photo of the board showing the property or a web link to a website describing the contents of the edition.
Suggested "proof" sites include:
Monopolybase
USA Board
UK Board
Australian Board

Country Index of the Monopoly Lexicon
Remember, a photo of the property on game board you are waymarking from can be used as an alternate "proof".
What can be waymarked in this category?
Any specific real world location that is named on any edition of Monopoly may be waymarked, provided that the Waymarker can prove that the edition really exists and really does name that property.
The waymarked location must be the specific one named on the board, so not just any Connecticut Avenue, but the one in Atlantic City, NJ, USA, if you were using the U.S. Standard Edition.
Only named properties may be waymarked; i.e., not generic locations such as the Water Works unless the edition specifies a particular location in place of the water works.
They must be real world locations, For example, you can't use 'Simpsonsopoly'.
The same location may be found on several monopoly variants. That location may be Waymarked for each unique variant board, but may NOT be Waymarked by the same person. This is to allow others to have a chance to Waymark a location that is popular enough to be on several monopoly variant boards. Naturally, any Waymarker may visit all of the same location Waymarks once approved. Updated November 2012
