325 feet long, one lane wide, out in the middle of nowhere. The town of Regency had only forty residents from the 20s to the 40s and the post office closed for good sometime in the 30s. The last store closed in 1971.

Back in the 1950s-60s, El Paso's San Jacinto Plaza featured a pond filled with live alligators. They'd entertained citizens since the 1880s. The gators are long gone, but have been replaced with an impressive fountain at the Plaza de Los Lagartos.
