When built in 1922 this was not only the largest building in Nakusp, but also probably the most important and the busiest, as it housed not only the Masons upstairs, but the Canadian Bank of Commerce and the Post Office on the ground floor.

Built in 1923, this building housed first an insurance business, then, variously, a doctor's office, a telephone office and a drugstore. This was one of the buildings which solidified Broadway Street's position as Nakusp's major commercial street.

This courthouse is the last extant building designed by BC Government architect Evered Criddle and is the only pre-1912 wood frame courthouse in British Columbia still in use. When built it held jail cells and police offices.

It turns out that the Rossland's swimming pool is not only a heritage site but the oldest outdoor pool in BC. Whoda thunk it? Easy to find, it's right beside the city hall at 1869 Columbia Avenue.
