GONE! Before arriving here as part of ART In the Capital, The Odyssey was part of the Passages insolites organized by EX MURO in Québec. Interpretive signs were on site.

A park is taken over by three oversized pigeons eyeing a Campbell's soup can... These birds give the impression of not understanding how to open the can or not knowing that it contains a large amount of food. A reference to pop art and Andy Warhol, The Odyssey becomes the representation of the perceived impenetrable world for which contemporary art is often criticized.

The work of contemporary-art artist duo Cooke-Sasseville has been shown in several solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Sculptural and installative in nature, the highly visual pieces unfold with strength in the space. The artistic duo has also produced several public art works within the framework of Quebec's Policy of integration of the arts with architecture.
