Phare de la Madonetta is 11 metres high red lighthouse that guards port of Bonifacio from the west. It was built on cliffs of small chalky peninsula 28 metres above the sea in year 1864.

Its automatic halogene lights can be seen from distance 7 miles (11 kilometres). There is no lighthouse guard nor possibility for public visit. You can approach it from the sea, taking one of available boat trips from Bonifacio Marina.

Enjoy your visit of Bonifacio.
