Cemetery is named after William Pierson that is buryed here and has a marker that dates 1879, and is the earliest dated stone. Most of the older graves are only marked by field stones, but some are hand chisled limestone. They seem to be made by the same stone mason. The most recent stone is dated 1904, and the family name is Bates. These two familys lived in this area and still have decendants. Cemetery is located in a very remote location.
